Bo’ness Rugby Club has launched the Purple Rhinos, a new touch rugby team designed for renal patients, their families, and NHS renal staff. The team aims to boost both physical and mental wellbeing through inclusive, mixed-gender sport, using the new T1 Touch Rugby ruleset.
Training sessions take place every Sunday, from 1pm – 2pm, at Bo’ness Recreation Centre – Home Pitch (EH51 9QB). Open to anybody over 18-years-old, no rugby experience is needed, and both competitive and social play are encouraged.
