Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) has launched a consultation as part of its annual budget setting process. This includes an online survey (linked for your convenience), which asks for views on 2 proposals:
- increase charges for several social care services (including care at home, Falkirk Council care homes, Day Centres, and the Mobile Emergency Care Service (MECS))
- increase the amount charged for meals provided in Falkirk HSCP’s Housing with Care (HwC) Service by 5%; this will apply to tenants in Dorrator Court (which is the only HwC property offering a meal service)
In addition to the online survey, Falkirk HSCP is writing to more than 5,000 local residents and families who may be affected by these proposals, and is hosting information sessions in local libraries, and within services, to help people take part in the consultation. The next library drop-ins take place at:
- Falkirk Library on Tuesday 10 February 2026, 1:30pm – 3:30pm
- Denny Library on Thursday 12 February 2026, 10:30am – 12:30pm
The deadline for responses to the online survey is Monday 16 February 2026.
For further information, including how to submit your response to the consultation, please visit the Falkirk HSCP website (linked for your convenience).
