Falkirk Health & Social Care Partnership (HSCP) has established three locality areas as part of its commitment to deliver services that meet the needs of the communities. The three locality areas are:
- West Locality: Denny, Bonnybridge, Larbert and Stenhousemuir
- Central Locality: Falkirk town, Camelon, Bainsford/Langlees and Hallglen
- East Locality: Grangemouth, Bo’ness, Braes Villages
The HSCP are required to develop Locality Plans to help identify and address the needs of each Locality area and demonstrate how the Outcomes and Priorities in the Falkirk HSCP Strategic Plan 2023-2026 will be delivered on a local basis.
Falkirk East Locality Delivery Group are now undertaking a consultation and engagement phase to hear from the public their views on the challenges outlined for health & social care within Falkirk East. The public will be asked if they agree with the challenges outlined and if anything is missing that should be considered.
The public will also be asked about the proposed priorities for the East Locality. The public will be asked if they agree with the proposed priorities or if they feel anything else should be included. Feedback from engagement will help the Delivery Group determine actions to take forward within the East Locality area.
Engagement will include an online survey, attending third sector & community group meetings and staff meetings within the HSCP. The online survey can be accessed via ParticipatePlus+ and closes for views on Wednesday 23 April 2023.
Whilst the consultation and engagement phase is ongoing, the East Plan will be drafted and updated with feedback received from the engagement.
