Falkirk Council will soon be launching their new 5 year Litter Strategy 2021-2026, and have opened consultation with an online survey and a series of virtual events.
The Strategy will cover all aspects of litter and waste, including issues such as fly-tipping, dog fouling, waste and litter management, and details the various roles and responsibilities everyone has to ensure Falkirk’s communities are clean, vibrant and litter free.
Falkirk Council is keen to hear from people across Falkirk on how to improve and inform the current documentation. In addition to the online survey, they will be holding virtual events in the new year for people to share their thoughts, suggestions and views, taking place on:
- Friday 8th January at 10am, for local businesses; book your place via Eventbrite
- Friday 8th January at 1:30pm, for community groups and individuals; book your place via Eventbrite
They have also made available a pre-recorded version of the presentation for people to watch in their own time, if they are unable to attend any of the events or would like to revisit.
The deadline for responses is Friday 22nd January 2021.
For further information (including the pre-recorded presentation), please visit the Falkirk Council website.
