Marking Carers Rights Day, Falkirk & Clackmannanshire Carers Centre is hosting a special Know Your Rights Drop-In Event on Thursday 19 November, 12.30pm – 6.30pm. Based at the Falkirk & Clackmannanshire Carers Centre (FK1 1NB), go along to find out more about your rights, benefits, support services, short breaks, employment rights and other help available to carers.
Open to any unpaid carer looking for information, support and advice, no booking is required, please just drop in.
If you look after a partner, child, family member or friend who could not manage without your help due to illness, disability, mental health challenges, addiction or frailty, then you are a carer. With more than 5.8 million unpaid carers across the UK, Carers Rights Day is about making sure carers know their rights and can access the support they need.
