Falkirk & Clackmannanshire Carers Centre welcome all who work with individuals and families to attend their ‘Information Session for Professionals‘ on Thursday 30 July, 10.30am–12.30pm. The session will take place at the Carers Centre (FK1 1NB), with the option to join online via Zoom.
The Centre’s Information Sessions for Professionals are an ideal way for professionals who encounter unpaid carers to learn more about the needs and rights of carers and the support and services provided by the Falkirk & Clackmannanshire Carers Centre. The session will provide an overview of the support available, how to identify carers and make referrals, and opportunities to meet the Carers Centre team and network with other professionals. Participants will also gain practical insight into the Carers (Scotland) Act 2016, Adult Carer Support Plans, Young Carer Statements and the role of carers in the hospital discharge process.
