The Fore Spring 2025 Funding Round: Registration Opening
December 4, 2024 @ 12:00 pm
FreeRegistration for The Fore’s Spring 2025 Funding Round will open at 12pm next Wednesday 4th December for one week until 12pm on Wednesday 11th December.
The Fore offers unrestricted funding to help applicants grow, strengthen, become more efficient or resilient. They believe that by asking applicants what they need, the grants will create a transformational impact on their organisation.
For example, a grant might help an organisation to grow, increase their staff capacity, become more sustainable or make their systems more efficient. Examples of what The Fore has previously funded are available on their website (linked for your convenience).
Those who register to apply and are successful in their application will receive:
- an unrestricted grant of up to £30,000 (from 12 months – 3 years)
- access to skills and networks (including peers and pro bono support from experienced professionals)
- access to free training (through The Fore’s workshops programme and fully funded impact measurement support courses)
Eligibility
The Fore’s funding is open to:
- registered Charities, Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIOs), Community Interest Companies (CICs) limited by guarantee, and Charitable Community Benefit Societies (CBSs)/Non-Charitable CBSs with an asset lock
- groups and organisations with an annual revenue of less than £500,000
To double check your eligibility, please take The Fore’s short eligibility quiz.
How to Register and Apply
- Register your interest in applying (taking 2–3 minutes).
- Registration will be open for one week from 12pm on Wednesday 4th December, until 12pm on Wednesday 11th December, when registration will close.
- During this window, the link to register interest in applying will be on the Apply for Funding
- On Thursday 12th December, everyone who has registered will receive confirmation of whether they have been allocated a place on the funding round, along with details of how to apply. If there are more applicants registered than places available, places will be allocated at random.
“While we would really like to offer places to all who register for each funding round, The Fore is a charity and the number of places offered is limited by the amount of funding we have available to distribute and our wish to give feedback to every organisation who submits an application. This unfortunately means that while an organisation might register, they may not be invited to submit a full application. This is why registration is set up to take 2 to 3 minutes as we want to avoid taking up the precious time of charity leaders. We are continuously fundraising so we can offer more places per funding round and ultimately fund more applicants in the future.”
- Once you have received confirmation of your place on the funding round, write and submit your application before the deadline of 5pm on Monday 13th January 2025.
Q&A Session
The Fore will be hosting an online Q&A session 3pm – 4pm on Wednesday 4th December, where attendees can hear more from their team about the application process and any other questions they may have about registering their interest in applying, or the registration process.
The session will be recorded; those who would like to attend but cannot should still sign up to attend in order to receive the recording.
To book your place, or for further information, please visit the Eventbrite page.
