May 14, 2024 @ 11:00 am - 7:00 pm
On Tuesday 14 May, the University of Stirling are hosting free storytelling sessions as part of a research project on community engagement with forest and woodland creation. Run in collaboration with Forth Climate Forest and The Woodland Trust, they will share stories about trees that hold meaning to explore connections and importance of the trees and woods, led by an experienced Professor of Storytelling.
Held between 11am-2pm at the Wood Hill Wood, Alva, and then 4pm-7pm at the Gillies Hill Wood, Cambusbarron; they are looking for participants to share their views on local woods, and forest and woodland creation, to help guide local planting and restoration. The sessions will be fun and interactive, and refreshments will be provided. Anyone over the age 18 is welcome to attend.
