Scottish Ambulance Service Feedback Event: Patient Transport Service

July 31, 2019 @ 9:30 am - 3:00 pm

Free

The Scottish Ambulance Service are holding 2 upcoming feedback events on new vehicles the Service is considering purchasing for their A&E Service.

The events will take place on Wednesday 3rd July (focusing on the A&E Service) and Wednesday 31st July (based around the Patient Transport Service). Both events will be 9:30am – 3pm at the Falkirk Community Ambulance Station, Grangemouth Road, Falkirk, FK2 9AA.

The Service is keen to have third sector organisations in attendance who represent interested members of the community, including older people, people with chronic conditions, and any group with an interest in health in their local community.

At each event, the Service will showcase 5 – 6 new ambulances, and through hands-on experience, demonstration and discussion, hope that the feedback they receive will help them choose which vehicle to invest in. They specifically want to know if these vehicles are accessible, comfortable, safe, if their ramps and lifts are easy to use, if there is enough space, and if the vehicles will work for all members of the public that will use them.
