SCLD “My Home My Community” Event

As part of Scottish Learning Disability Week (which runs Monday 2^nd May – Sunday 8^th May), the Scottish Commission for People with Learning Disabilities (SCLD) is holding an event on Thursday 5^th May, “My Home My Community”.

The event takes place 1:30pm – 3pm, via Zoom, and is aimed at all community groups as well as learning disability organisations, featuring the new Active Connected Included resource.

Active Connected Included is a practical resource from SCLD designed to help community groups and community activities become more inclusive for people with learning disabilities, and others. The resource is being used extensively in North Ayrshire, and the event offers attendees the opportunity to hear from practitioners on how it has been used and what difference it makes.
