Round the Houses Race and Fun Day 2025
August 31, 2025 @ 10:30 am - 3:30 pm
This year’s Round the Houses Race and Fun Day in Grangemouth will take place on Sunday 31 August 2025, beginning from 10:30pm at Grangemouth Stadium, Kersiebank Avenue, Grangemouth, FK3 0BS.
The event will feature a fast, 10k flat race route around the stadium, plus a 2k fun run for all ages. The family fun zone at the stadium will feature inflatable attractions (including bouncy castles and obstacle courses), stalls from local businesses and crafts to browse, and an on-site café serving drinks and treats all day.
Former Falkirk FC player Kevin McAllister will open the event, and childcare from Polmont Playgroup is available for runners, with drop-off between 12pm – 12:30pm and pick-up after your race, at a cost of £10 per child.
The 10k race incorporates the East District 10k Road Championship; a finish time text will be provided to all finishers who provide a valid mobile number at point of entry. Each race number contains a chip timing device. Runners can collect their race number on the day at Administration in the Grangemouth Stadium Indoor Centre. Race numbers for the 10k race should be collected at the Indoor Centre between 10:30am – 12:10pm on the day (participants must show their race number email at registration).
All 10k runners must be 15 years old or older on the day of the race.
There will be water for runners to re-hydrate after their run, and showers and changing facilities at the stadium. Car parking is available at Bowhouse Primary School. Prize giving will take place in Grangemouth Stadium at approximately 2pm.
By entering this event, all runners agree that photographs and/or video footage may be taken and used for PR/Marketing purposes.
Please note, this event is a road race designed for runners. The traffic management plan is built around the estimated times of club and fun runners. Therefore, the race and organisers are unable to accommodate walkers in the event. Due to traffic restrictions in place entrants must be able to maintain a pace of at least 8 minutes per kilometre completing the course in 80 minutes or less.
