Pause & Breathe Installation Party

Pause & Breathe welcome all to attend their Installation Party on Friday 27 February 2026, 2:30pm–3:30pm, at The Place to Pause & Breathe (18 High Street, Bonnybridge, FK1 1DA).

Thanks to funding from the Kelvin Valley and Falkirk Community Led Local Development Fund, Pause & Breathe CIC were able to deliver a series of creative workshops focused on recycling, upcycling, reducing waste, and promoting circular economy principles – and to carry out development work within their outdoor garden space. The Installation Party will celebrate and unveil their completed garden space, as well as participants and volunteers’ contributions to a range of creative and practical projects enabled through these workshops.

The creative workshops were facilitated by mixed media artist and educator Caroline Muirhead, who has more than 30 years of experience working within community settings. Caroline has a strong focus on sustainable design and the reuse of found materials, and her work has been exhibited across Central Scotland, London, Lisbon, and Sydney. The gardening project has been led by chief Gardening Volunteer Michelle Lawrence, who has been part of the Pause and Breathe community since 2018.
