#OneManWalkingAMillionTalking: Drymen to Inversnaid

A local Forth Valley man is walking the length of Britain to raise awareness of suicide, suicide prevention and postvention.

John Gibson is currently walking from Lands End to John O’Groats to raise awareness of suicide and raise funds for the Canmore Trust, the charity the Gibson family have set up to support suicide prevention and postvention, and both provide and support safe spaces for those affected by suicide, in memory of John’s son, Cameron, who died by suicide in 2019.

People are welcome to join John on his walk and open a national conversation about suicide; the walk will pass through Forth Valley next week for anyone who wishes to take part:

• Monday 8^th August: Linlithgow to Kilsyth
• Tuesday 9^th August: Kilsyth to Drymen
• Thursday 11^th August: Drymen to Inversnaid
