NHS Education for Scotland Trauma Framework Training Event (Morning)

NHS Education for Scotland is holding 2 “Transforming Psychological Trauma Framework Trauma Skilled Level” training events on Tuesday 19th November at the Grange Manor Hotel, Glensburgh Road, Grangemouth, FK3 8XJ. The first session will run 9:30am – 12:30pm, and be repeated 1:30pm – 4:30pm.
The National Trauma Training Framework was published in 2017, and the companion document the Training Plan was launched in July 2019.
By the end of the training, participants should have:
- an increased understanding and insight into the impact of trauma and how it may affect people
- an increased awareness and knowledge of how people who have experienced trauma may present to services
- increased skills and knowledge in recognising and working with people who have experienced trauma
- an increased understanding of trauma-informed practice and how it can positively impact on care and support for people
There will also be an opportunity to meet with colleagues from a range of settings and share experiences, ideas and good practice.
Places are extremely limited and booking is essential; the deadline for booking applications is Tuesday 29th October.
