New Year, New You: Denny Volunteer Recruitment Fayre

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at Monday’s event to find out more about volunteering in Grangemouth – we can’t wait to hear back about the next steps on your volunteering journey!

Next up on our New Year, New You tour of the Falkirk District, we are off to Denny on Saturday 1 February.

Join us at Dennyloanhead Community Hall, Haypark Road, Denny, FK6 5JZ to meet local groups and charities making a difference in the area. Our team will be there to help you find the right role for you, and answer any questions you have about volunteering.

Drop by anytime 12pm – 3pm and find out about the incredible creativity of Denny’s groups that you can get involved with. The café will also be open, so why not treat yourself to a hot drink and something delicious to eat?

To welcome in 2025, CVS Falkirk & District are launching their exciting New Year, New You campaign, with lots of local events across Falkirk District. There will be information drop-ins and volunteer recruitment fayres for anyone looking to volunteer, who can meet with groups and organisations in their areas, and find out more about available opportunities.

New Year, New You is a celebration of volunteering in our communities, shining a light on the impressive range of ways to get involved. Events include:

• Thursday 9 January, 4pm – 7pm at Bonnybridge Library: Drop-in
• Monday 13 January, 4pm – 7pm at Bo’ness Library: Drop-in
• Wednesday 15 January, 12:30pm – 1:30pm (online): Lunchtime Drop-in (via Teams)
• Thursday 16 January, 6pm – 7pm at CVS Falkirk & District Office (Callendar Business Park): Open Evening
• Monday 20 January, 3pm – 6pm at Beancross & Newlands Community Centre, Grangemouth: Volunteer Recruitment Fayre
• Saturday 1 February, 12pm – 3pm, Dennyloanhead Community Hall: Volunteer Recruitment Fayre

Volunteers can stop by at any of these events to hear about local groups looking for volunteers to help them make a difference.
