Group Discussion on Career Options for Local Parents

Cyrenians and Falkirk Council’s Employment and Training Unit (ETU) are hosting in-person group discussions on training and career options for local parents, with the next taking place:

• Wednesday 9^th February, 1pm – 3pm at Hallglen Ettrick Dochart Community Hall, Dochart Place, Hallglen, FK1 2QR
• Thursday 10^th February, 10am – 12pm at Maddiston Community Education Centre, 5 Parkhall Drive, Maddiston, FK2 0LH

The sessions aim to provide parents with an opportunity to have their voices heard, in order to develop a service that meets their needs. They will also be able to meet with other parents and share views and opinions.

Afterwards, Cyrenians and ETU will look at everyone’s input from the sessions and work to make any changes and improvements in the help and support they offer. While they cannot promise all suggestions will be achievable, they are committed to taking parents’ ideas forward when designing and delivering future services.

Feedback from the sessions will be presented by April 2022.
