Falkirk Employability Tender – Collaboration Networking Event

CVS Falkirk and Partnership for Procurement (P4P) are holding a free Falkirk Employability Tender collaboration networking event on Thursday 9^th May, 10am – 1pm at CVS Falkirk, Unit 6, Callendar Business Park, Falkirk, FK1 1XR.

Falkirk Council will be seeking to procure Employability Support Services from providers experienced in delivering to individuals who are disadvantaged and excluded from participating in the labour market, who face a range of barriers to employment and require additional support to obtain, sustain, and progress in employment.

The tender will be divided into 3 lots:

• Lot 1: Engagement and Barrier Removal
• Lot 2: Vocational Training and Work Related Skills
• Lot 3: In-Work Support and Work Based Qualifications

Falkirk Council is holding an information session with potential service providers on Thursday 2^ndMay; to attend, and be eligible to submit a tender application, contact Falkirk Council before 11am on Tuesday 30^th April by email: pcu@falkirk.gov.uk

CVS Falkirk and P4P’s event, open to third sector organisations and groups, will discuss the forthcoming Falkirk Council Employability Support Services tender, the support available and the opportunities for a consortium bid.

The purpose of the event is to provide potential partner organisations with an opportunity to network. P4P will speak about the benefits of collaboration, and will provide attendees with tips for improving their tender.

If there is sufficient interest in forming a partnership, P4P will then facilitate further meetings between partner organisations if and when required.

P4P is an initiative managed by Senscot, which supports third sector organisations across Scotland to tender for contracts, and with developing consortia or other types of partnerships.
