Elite Road Race Online Info Session

FreeThis summer, the Men Elite Road Race, Men Under 23 Road Race and Women Elite (including Women Under 23) Road Race will pass through Scotland on Sunday 6th August, Saturday 12th August, and Sunday 13th August respectively, including areas of Forth Valley and Falkirk District.
The Men Elite will start in Edinburgh and finish in Glasgow city centre, taking in the Carron Valley and Fintry, while the U23 Men and Women Elite will start in Balloch at the foot of Loch Lomond, before heading towards Drymen, Balfron and Fintry, with riders also crossing the line in Glasgow city centre.
2023 UCI Cycling World Championships Ltd, in partnership with relevant local authorities, are inviting members of the public to attend online drop-in sessions to find out more about the impact on their areas.
Online Drop-In Sessions
Two online information sessions for local residents and businesses along the Elite Road Race routes will take place on Tuesday 18th July and Wednesday 19th July.
The sessions will give communities practical information about the races and local impacts along the route. Each session will include a short presentation on the elite road race routes, road closures, opportunities to spectate, and an opportunity for Q&A.
- Tuesday 18th July, 7pm – 8pm
This session will focus on the race routes’ impact through Stirling, East Dunbartonshire, and West Dunbartonshire council areas. To book your place at this session, please visit the dedicated Eventbrite page.
