Discussion Event: Early Intervention in Psychosis Services

February 3, 2021 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Free

NHS Forth Valley, in partnership with Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS), is working to improve Early Intervention in Psychosis services in Forth Valley.

They want to ensure that the voices of people with lived experience are at the heart of their work, and are inviting people to take part in virtual discussions on Early Intervention in Psychosis services, taking place on:

  • Wednesday 20th January, 6pm – 7:30pm
  • Wednesday 3rd February, 2pm – 3:30pm

Both discussions will take place via Microsoft Teams, focusing on 3 key questions:

  • how can care be made more accessible?
  • what does early intervention mean to you?
  • thinking of your experience, what would have helped?

Sharing experiences will help to influence the future of services for people with psychosis in Forth Valley. The stakeholder reference group, who has organised the discussions, would especially like to hear from individuals who have personally experienced psychosis, partners, immediate family, or carers who have experience of supporting someone affected by psychosis. They want to hear from you about what would have helped you and what would help others, so they can inform decision-makers.

Places are limited, and those looking to take part are encouraged to book as soon as possible.

To book your place and take part on either date, please visit the relevant registration page (linked below for your convenience):

You will receive a link to the online event and information on how to use Microsoft Teams by email 2 weeks before the session.

Alternatively, for further information or assistance booking your place, contact the stakeholder reference group by email: fv.fvquality@nhs.scot
