‘Capturing Volunteer Stories, 1984 – 2024’ Free Exhibition
September 10 @ 9:00 am - September 20 @ 4:00 pm
We are proud to announce our free exhibition ‘Capturing Volunteer Stories, 1984-2024’ will be open to the public from 10 to 20 September and held at Arnotdale House in Dollar Park (FK1 5SQ). Curated as part of CVS Falkirk & District 40th Anniversary celebrations, we are excited to showcase some amazing volunteer stories.
Since CVS Falkirk & District was founded in 1984, it has supported community engagement and volunteering. Yet it is the individuals and volunteer-involving organisations who truly drive community empowerment, and it is these people that we want to celebrate! On our anniversary year, we are excited to be able to give a platform to some amazing volunteering stories and memories, as well as to highlight the tireless work of many of our Falkirk-based charities. We will be featuring groups such as Braveheart, Let’s Get Grangemouth Clean, ROOTs and Dates-n-Mates, and sharing the memories of volunteers who have been active in their communities for nearly 70 years!
The exhibition is suitable for all ages, with activities for children, and based in the beautiful setting of Dollar Park. There will be a pay-what-you-can tuck shop, with all proceeds going to the Cyrenains, and seating areas available – so please come down and pay us a visit!
If you have any questions, or want to feature your charitable organisation, please contact us by email at: info@cvsfalkirk.org.uk or call 01324 692000.
