Awareness Session on Trafficking and Exploitative Employment Practices

Central Scotland Regional Equality Council (CSREC) invite you to an awareness session on trafficking and exploitative employment practices. This session will take place on Tuesday 29th November, 10am to 12pm (registration starts at 9:30am), Tower Suite, Forth Valley College, Alloa campus, Devon Road, Alloa FK10 1PX and is part of the programme of 16 Days of Action in Forth Valley and will be delivered by Fiona Panetta, Enforcement Officer, Gangmasters Licensing Authority.

The following topics will be covered:

  • What the Gangmasters Licensing Authority  does
  • What are the signs of trafficking to be aware of
  • If you suspect trafficking or poor employment practices experienced by service users, what is the procedure for reporting
  • What can be reported
  • Who and how to report
  • Dos and don’ts in reporting and working with victims

This session is being delivered in partnership by CSREC, Forth Valley College and Clacks VAW Partnership.
