Apex Vets Open Day and Free Family Fun Day

The Apex Vets Open Day and Free Family Fun Day returns for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic, with the 2022 event taking place on Saturday 3^rd September, 12pm – 4pm at the Apex Veterinary Centre, Winchester Avenue, Denny, FK6 6QE.

All proceeds from the day will be donated to Apex Vets’ chosen charities, Street Vet and Pet Fostering Service Scotland.

The event will feature:

• a charity tombola (with prizes donated from local businesses, including – but not limited to – Beauty advent calendar (worth £100), Park Hotel Falkirk restaurant vouchers, champagne, wines and spirits, Stirling Distillery gin tasting for 2, Renella hair vouchers, a Blair Drummond Safari Park voucher, and Stirling Golf Club prizes)
• animal petting (including 2 alpacas, various reptiles and snakes, and an owl display from World of Wings)
• face painting
• bouncy castle
• marketplace of local crafters and stalls
• charity exhibition and book sale
• a treasure hunt
• charity bake sale
• e-bike trial rides
• “behind the scenes” tours of Apex Vets’ operating theatres, wards and X-ray room

There will also be a fire engine and police van on the day for children to explore, and a Doggy Sports Day, with prizes and rosettes.
