100 Years of Suffrage Event

Central Scotland Regional Equality Council (CSREC), the Stirling Gender Based Violence Partnership, Forth Valley Rape Crisis Centre, Stirling District Women’s Aid and Shakti Women’s Aid have organised a 100 Years of Suffrage event on Tuesday 1st May, 9am – 12:30pm at the Albert Halls, Albert Place, Dumarton Road, Stirling, FK8 2QL.

The event celebrates 100 Years of Suffrage, recounting the journey of gender equality and women’s rights globally and locally, and exploring what else needs to be done in the Scottish and local context. There will be speeches, workshops, information stalls, panel discussions, music and a local timeline of women’s equality in Stirling.
