Scottish Government’s Community Climate Action Team is currently running a series of regional discussions this month, with the Falkirk and West Lothian event taking place this coming Monday 14th March, 11am – 12:30pm, via Teams.
The discussions focus on the development of a network of regional community climate action hubs, to provide a strategic regional approach to climate change action. This network of regional hubs will be spread across Scotland. The hubs could help groups develop local plans, take up community funding opportunities, facilitate networking and ensure a joined-up approach is being taken to tackling climate change at a regional level.
During these discussion events, the team will be speaking to local groups, people and communities on how a regional hub in each area might be set up, what its priorities would be, and how it would tie in with existing work and projects locally.
They are keen to hear from as many groups as possible at these events, which are open to all community groups currently involved in climate action, or who might consider getting involved in the future.
