Children’s Reporter Learning Sessions

The Children’s Reporter’s Office are offering a variety of online and in-person interagency training sessions for staff across Forth Valley.

For online learning sessions with no need to pre-book, they are hosting sessions on:

• Overview of the Children’s Hearing System: 10 October 2024, 10.00am to 12noon – or 23 October 2024, 3:30 to 5.30pm
• Preparing Children for Hearing: 22 January 2025, 10am to 11.30am
• Referrals and Report Writing Interagency Training: 26 March 2025, 10am to 1.00pm

For in-person training, where your place will be confirmed once places are allocated by the Reporter’s Office, they are hosting sessions on:

• Court Skills: 22 October 2024, 10am to 1pm – or 20 February 2025, 10am to 1pm
• Role of the Reporter & Mock Hearing: 23 January 2025, 10am to 1.00pm

Please note that for the in-person sessions, if you are unable to attend the planned dates there is the option to request alternative dates.
