Challenge Poverty Week (CPW) 2020 takes place Monday 5th October – Sunday 11th October.
To help organisations get involved, the Poverty Alliance has created a series of resources which can be used when planning and promoting activities:
- Media Promotion: the Poverty Alliance can promote activities and events to the media on behalf of organisations, by including them in their CPW media and communications briefing
- the deadline for submissions is Monday 24th August
- to include your information in the briefing, contact Suzi Murning at the email address below
- “Get Involved” Meeting: taking place on Thursday 27th August from 10am via Zoom; everyone is welcome to attend
- to book your place, visit the Zoom booking page
- Online Calendar: groups can add their CPW activities and events (physical and online) to the CPW calendar; entries will be promoted by the Poverty Alliance through social media
- 121s: those who aren’t sure bout what to do for CPW, or would like to talk through their plans in a “121” setting, can get in touch with Suzi Murning at the email address below
- Toolkit: available to view or download as a pdf, this year’s CPW toolkit contains ideas on how to get involved, as well as links to further resources
- Personalised Graphics: the Poverty Alliance has created 2 graphics (one and two) which can be used on social media; these can also be edited through the Poverty Alliance’s Canva account to include your own logo and details; Canva login details can be requested from Suzi Murning at the email address below
