FDAMH (Falkirk’s Mental Health Association) is a community-based charitable organisation that specialises in Mental Health and Wellbeing support and training – and is also an approved SQA Learning Centre. Available to anyone throughout Scotland, their COSCA (Certificate in Counselling Skills) course is now taking applications for their August intake.
An accredited, SQA Level 8 course, COSCA is perfect for anybody looking to improve their understanding of other people as well as themselves. The course teaches advanced, practical communication skills, developed through a combination of theory and hands-on practice, which combine to develop true listening and attention, effective communication, and advanced relational skills.
COSCA Online Course:
- Start Date: Monday 12 August 2024
- Venue: Zoom Online platform
- Duration: 9 Months – The course ends May 2025
- Fee: £1300 – payment plans can be organised
COSCA Face to Face Course:
- Start Date: Saturday 17 August 2024
- Venue: FDAMH, 173 Victoria Road, Falkirk, FK2 7AU
- Duration: 4 Months – The course ends mid December 2024
- Fee: £1300 – payment plans can be organised
Although no previous experience or qualifications are required, there is an application process.
