Community Wellbeing & Education CIC is a Falkirk District social enterprise beauty academy, offering bespoke training designed to help participants overcome barriers to learning, and support individuals to make positive progression into employability through beauty therapy qualifications and skills.

They currently have 16 student places on offer for their next course to train as a make-up artist and nail technician, which begins in the new year and run two days a week for 18 weeks at Ironworks Business Centre, Bankside, Falkirk, FK2 7XE. This fully funded course is aimed at young people aged 16 – 24, residing in Limerigg or Slamannan.

The training is supported by Foundation Scotland, and aims to provide the required skills to empower young people to become a make-up artists and nail technicians, with learning focused on make-up and eye treatments, gel polish and builder gel. In addition, participants will also be able to develop their CV and interview skills. At the end of the course, attendees will have completed their National Progression Award (NPA) Makeup & Eyes.
