The Scottish Community Mediation Centre (SCMC) has announced new dates for its accredited Mediation Skills training course, with the next programme starting in October 2026 and delivered online via Zoom.
Managed by Sacro, the SCMC’s mediation training programme is celebrating its 25th year of equipping people with the skills and confidence to manage conflict effectively. The six day course, combines theory with practical learning, covering every stage of the mediation process: from conducting initial meetings through to preparing for and facilitating a full mediation session. Participants will also explore different models and approaches to mediation, alongside the ethical and legal considerations involved, while developing a greater understanding of their own responses to conflict and how to support others in resolving disputes constructively. The full six day course costs £700 per person.
