Under the Trees

We specialise in Environmental Education! We love going outside and want you to enjoy it too! Mud, laughter, come along and join us on our adventure!

Under The Trees are a charity providing Environmental Education to all age groups and abilities. We are currently based in Falkirk, but cover all areas in Central Scotland. We work in local greenspaces, parks, woodlands, school and business grounds.

Our Aims and Objectives are:
• Ensure a caring and nurturing environment, providing stability for children;
• Give children the opportunity to have free play in the woods, to benefit from time spent outdoors and to connect with nature;
• Help children and families on their outdoor journey, providing the confidence to get outside on their own;
• Ensure the protection, awareness and appreciation of the natural environment;
• Offer topics that link in with the Curriculum for Excellence and the opportunity for individuals and groups to take part in our Forest School programme;
• Bring communities together, helping to improve health, wellbeing and community cohesion;
• Support disadvantaged children, families and communities;
• Assisting young, disadvantaged or marginalised people with volunteer skills training and employability;
• Create and maintain partnership links;
• Leave a legacy for future generations to build on.
