The Salvation Army Falkirk’s New Future Employability and Training Centre has re-opened, with new hours, which are by appointment only:
- Monday 9am – 4pm
- Tuesday 9am – 9pm (late appointments available)
- Wednesday 9am – 4pm
- Thursday 9am – 9pm (late appointments available)
- Friday CLOSED (no appointments)
The centre offers free use of computers for those who are job searching, looking to prepare or update CVs, covering letters or submit online application forms. New for 2021, they now offer SQA Construction Training for Part 1 of the CSCS Training on a Tuesday night.
They also offer computing classes, with one-to-one support if required, showing clients the basics of computing, and how to set up and use programmes such as email and word documents. Support is also available for those clients who need assistance with their Universal Jobmatch account.
The centre’s job board is regularly updated with employment opportunities advertised within Falkirk and nearby surrounding areas. The New Future team offers support to clients wishing to apply for any these jobs and can also help anyone who wants to register with local recruitment agencies.
New Future Employability and Training Centre is located at 1 Woodside Court, Falkirk, FK1 5AN.
