RISE Forth Valley

Formerly Al Masaar, RISE (Racial Inclusion, Supporting Empowerment) Forth Valley is a community-driven initiative dedicated to promoting racial inclusion and empowering racialised communities in the Forth Valley region. Our mission is to create a more equitable and inclusive society by addressing systemic barriers, fostering cross-cultural understanding, and amplifying the voices of those who have been historically marginalised.

Through a range of programs and advocacy efforts, we strive to build a Forth Valley where everyone can thrive, regardless of their racial or ethnic background.

Our aim is to bring together different parts of our community to:

• Become a central learning hub for educational classes and workshops for the ethnic minority and wider community, promoting unity and awareness of social responsibility.

• Provide practical and social support to members of the local Ethnic Minority community especially those facing isolation and vulnerability through outreach services.

• Develop communication skills amongst ethnic minority youths and adults to enable them to become confident members of the Scottish society they live in.

• Provide a positive understanding and awareness of race and equality to the wider community to build better relations.
