Friends of Tremanna and Braes

A registered Charity established to support young people have lived in Tremanna and Braes.

This charity came from over a decade of supporting young people within Falkirk, who are looked after away from home and supported in a residential house named Tremanna. From 1 October 2023 we became Friends of Tremanna and Braes, extending our work to support young people moving on from Braes children’s house in Falkirk.

Friends of Tremanna aim to raise funds to help all young people who live in or have lived in Tremanna to enjoy ongoing family connections with them. We now support 18 young people and their 9 children.

Through creating opportunities to bring young people back to Tremanna, whether this be on holiday or special occasions, supporting young people through education and employment or simply to get a weekly shop, our aim is to take the “corporate” out of parent and do what we do for our own children when they leave home.
