Dunmore is a model conservation village on the River Forth in Falkirk, Scotland. It is surrounded by water, countryside, woodland… and history.
Dunmore is home to our lovely village green, Dunmore Park, and the famous Dunmore Pineapple.
Dunmore Village Association is a voluntary committee of residents who work for the benefit of Dunmore, care for village communal spaces and facilities, and organise events. A big focus of the DVA’s activities is fundraising.
The Association is bound by a constitution and a Management Committee is elected annually at a General Meeting open to all residents.
The Management Committee meets throughout the year to organise social and fundraising events to cover running costs in the village and raise money for
selected charities.
While Dunmore Village Association’s main focus is organising events and raising funds to care for village green space, it has also worked on bigger projects for the benefit of the village.
