“What Makes Peer Support Unique?”

December 10, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

Free

As part of Global Peer Supporters Celebration Day in October, the Scottish Recovery Network (SRN) launched the new Let’s Do Peer2Peer animation and accompanying free resources.

The animation is designed as a starting point for anyone looking for help to develop peer roles and approaches, exploring what the Peer2Peer programme is and how to get involved.

All information and resources on the animation are available on the SRN website.

SRN will also be holding a new online event, “What Makes Peer Support Unique?”, running on both Friday 10th December and Thursday 20th January.

The events are open to people who live or work in Scotland, exploring what it is that makes peer support unique, as part of a wider research project. Ideas and experiences from the events will be used to inform the development of the Peer Recovery Hub, and support the development of peer roles and peer approaches in Scotland.

To book your place, or for further information, please visit the SRN website.
