Scotland’s Census Toolkit and Demo Session

For anyone who missed the National Records of Scotland’s (NRS) conference workshop on the upcoming census, this is another chance for you and your organisation to get involved.

Scotland’s next census will be held in March 2022. This census will be a digital first census and NRS wants to encourage as many households in Scotland as possible to complete it online.

They have created a toolkit and supporting assets to support groups and organisations in the third sector as they engage with their own communities and those using their services about the census, and to promote the census, encourage participation and answer questions. The toolkit has lots of information about the census, as well as advertising, social media and other promotional materials which can be downloaded and shared.

NRS is also holding sessions via Teams with a live demo of the online census completion website, information on the toolkit, and the help and support available to enable people to complete the census; there will also be time for a Q&A session at the end.
