MAS Financial Capacity Research Launch

Money Advice Scotland (MAS) will launch their new Financial Capability Research during Talk Money Week 2021, at their online event on Wednesday 10^th November, 2pm – 3pm, via Zoom.

MAS has centred their approach to financial capability on asking people what they want from financial guidance.

The research focuses on 2 key age groups to find out what type of provision is most useful to them, and explores a range of topics, including:

• how the pandemic has affected people’s attitudes to their finances
• what “financial comfort” means to different people
• how these key age groups want to engage with financial guidance

During the event, the MAS team will discuss the key findings from the research and explain what this means for their work in financial capability.
