Open to frontline staff and volunteers in these areas, across the Falkirk District, the course is delivered in-person at The Foundry, 4 Central Park Avenue, Central Boulevard, Larbert, FK5 4RU. The next training dates are:
- Thursday 20 November 2025, 9:30am – 3pm
- Tuesday 10 February 2026, 9:30am – 3pm
The programme is designed to equip participants with the awareness, tools, and confidence to respond with compassion, fairness, and professionalism across all frontline services.
This interactive 5 hour session explores how stigma develops, its impact on individuals and communities, and practical strategies to challenge unconscious bias and use inclusive language. Through case studies, group discussion, and scenario-based learning, the course aims to help participants build confidence to recognise and respond to stigma in real time, helping create safer, more person-centred services.
