Forth Valley Orienteering Club Bantaskine Estate Session
May 24 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
£15Forth Valley Orienteering Club has announced their upcoming orienteering series, taking place across the Falkirk District on Saturdays, 2pm – 3pm.
Orienteering is an outdoor adventure sport, where the aim is to navigate between control points marked on a map and decide the best route to complete the course in the best time. The sport is suitable for any age and ability, as participants can run, walk or jog the course.
The full series costs £15 per junior to be paid in cash or card on the day of your first session; this also provides club membership, discount to future events, and other benefits. These events are specifically aimed to introduce people of all ages to the sport, and through the series develop navigation skills and earn certificates and badges, with the optional end goal of being able to compete at the Scottish Schools Orienteering Festival.
