Falkirk Accessible Shopping Day

Falkirk Delivers has organised the Falkirk Accessible Shopping Day, taking place on Saturday 2nd December, 11:30am – 3:30pm at the Howgate Shopping Centre in Falkirk.
Dial-a-Journey is working with Falkirk Delivers to provide accessible transport for the day via their Shopmobility service, along with wheelchairs, scooters and other mobility aids. They are able to pick people up and drop them off from nursing homes, sheltered accommodation, or their personal house. Dial-a-Journey will take shoppers to the Howgate Shopping Centre, where their booked accessible aid will be waiting. Afterwards, they’ll ensure people return safely.
Those registered for the event will also receive a £10 refreshment voucher for refreshments on the day.
The Falkirk Accessible Shopping Day is designed to ensure that everyone is able to shop in advance of the festive season in a way that is safe and accessible for them. Bookings must be made before Friday 24th November.
