ERSA Scotland Free Economic Inactivity Event

FreeEmployment Related Services Association (ERSA) Scotland is holding a free in-person event in Glasgow, focusing on economic inactivity and ERSA’s influencing work ahead of the 2026 Holyrood elections.
Taking place on Thursday 28 August 2025, 1:30pm – 4:30pm, at the The King’s Trust Wolfson Centre, 15 Carlton Court, Glasgow, G5 9JP, the event aims to provide delegates with an opportunity to consider and contribute to discussions around:
- Economic Inactivity in Scotland – labour market impacts and policy responses, with inputs from Fraser of Allander Institute and Scottish Government
- development of an ERSA Scotland employability manifesto for the 2026 Holyrood election – key themes and messages for inclusion
Registration and tea, coffee, and pastries will be available from 1:30pm, with speakers and presentations starting at 2pm. The event will conclude no later than 4:30pm.
