Falkirk Community Planning Partnership have launched a new consultation aimed at capturing the views of communities in Upper Braes, Bo’ness and Grangemouth on local services, community assets and the environment.
A number of community drop-in workshops are planned, where residents can identify their priorities for action, learn more about the locality planning process and discuss issues within their neighbourhood. They can also complete the consultation survey while at the workshops.
The workshops will take place at the following locations, 6:30pm – 9pm:
- Slamannan Community Centre, Bank Street, Slamannan, Falkirk, FK1 3EZ on Monday 29th January
- Maddiston Community Centre, Parkhall Drive, Maddiston, FK2 0LQ on Tuesday 30th January
- Grangemouth Town Hall, Abbots Road, Grangemouth, FK3 8JB on Wednesday 31st January
- Bo’ness Town Hall, Glebe Park, Stewart Avenue, Bo’ness, EH51 9NJ on Thursday 1st February
Workshops will also be held in Grangemouth High School, Braes High School and Bo’ness Academy to learn what young people think about their location. These workshops have been arranged in partnership with local secondary schools and Young Scot.
The consultation is a part of Falkirk Council’s new Locality Planning process where local communities work together with public and third sector organisations to improve residents’ lives and the areas they live in.
The closing date for responses is Friday 2nd February.
