Through NHS Forth Valley, Working Health Services Scotland’s (WHSS) local team provide a free and confidential vocational rehabilitation service for employees of small to medium-sized businesses and organisations (including third sector organisations) who do not have access to occupational health provision, as well as people who are self-employed.

Working Health Services supports individuals whose health condition is affecting their ability to remain at work, or who are currently absent from work due to a health issue. The service aims to help people manage their health in relation to their employment and, where appropriate, support a safe, smooth and sustainable return to work. Support is tailored to the individual and their circumstances, with the overall goal of helping people remain in employment wherever possible.

The team is also happy to offer workplace health presentations to local organisations and their staff. These presentations can help raise awareness of the support available through the Working Health Services, and encourage employees to seek help early when a health condition begins to affect their work.
