The latest Whole Family Wellbeing Funding (WFWF) Newsletter has now been published, providing an update on national policy developments, learning opportunities, and examples of good practice from across Scotland.
A key announcement is the introduction of the new Whole Family Support System Change Programme, which will bring together WFWF, Fairer Future Partnerships and Early Adopter Areas into a single integrated programme from April 2027. During the 2026–27 transitional year, partners are encouraged to continue current delivery while contributing to co-design and engagement activities that will shape the future programme.
The newsletter also highlights:

- Learning from recent Learning into Action Network events, including collaborative leadership, data sharing and systems change, alongside details of upcoming webinars and peer learning opportunities.
- The publication of Element 3 case studies, showcasing innovative projects which have strengthened whole family support across Scotland.
- An example of good practice from East Ayrshire’s Grow Together service, which has already supported over 215 families through early intervention and community-based support.
- Progress on the Whole Family Support through General Practice pilot, with positive early evaluation findings leading to further investment and planned expansion.
- New national resources, including a Tackling Poverty Locally case study directory, the Parenting Evidence Review 2025–26, and a new Early Years Data Profile to support local planning.
