Job Title: Community Champions Covid Project Co-ordinator

Hours: 24 hours per week with the ability to work evenings and weekends
£23,500 pro rata one year funded post

Line Management: Westfield Park Centre Development Manager

Purpose: To recruit and coordinate Community Champion volunteers to promote community resilience by developing services identified during the recent pandemic that helps relieve isolation and help improve local health and wellbeing.

Falkirk and District Community Conversations

Falkirk Council needs the knowledge and insight of local communities to help them better understand how their buildings – and the services provided in them – can meet your needs, now and in the future. To help do that, Community Conversations have been organised to ensure they hear voices from across the Falkirk Council area, beginning on Monday 1st February, with the first Grangemouth event.

Volunteer Scotland Disclosure and PVG Online Training Sessions

In January, February and March, Volunteer Scotland is holding regular, short online training courses on all aspects of their Disclosure Services, aiming to provide information the various aspects of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme that attendees may need for their role in their voluntary organisation. These sessions are free for voluntary organisations; however there are charges for non-attendance of booked sessions.
