Wellbeing Scotland are holding their conference Wellbeing Matters on Friday 24th November, 10am – 4pm at the IET Glasgow Teacher Building, 14 St Enoch Square, Glasgow, G1 4DB.
The conference will explore how adverse life experiences can have an impact on wellbeing. Keynote speaker Dr John Read (Professor of Clinical Psychology, University of East London) will discuss the social causes of mental health problems, and speaker Dr Sarah Nelson (University of Edinburgh) will hold a talk on the impact of childhood abuse on physical health.
Additional topics discussed at the conference include Partnership Approaches to Improving Wellbeing, and Improving Outcomes for Children and Young People, with additional speakers to be confirmed.
Tickets are £80 per person for voluntary organisations, £100 per person for statutory organisations.
