Volunteer Receptionist

The Spirit of Life Sanctuary are looking for reception volunteers to help book in appointments, assist with teas and coffees and greet those using the Sanctuary.

This opportunity takes places at 102 Thornhill Road, Falkirk and is available during the following times:

Tuesdays – Fridays 10:30am-4pm
Saturdays 11am-3pm
Sunday 6pm-9pm

The Sancturay of Life can be flexible during these times to accommodate the volunteer.

As a volunteer with the Sanctuary you will become part of their team and you will have the opportunity to receive spiritual readings and healings.

Al Masaar Youth Development Worker Vacancy

Al Masaar is currently recruiting a Youth Development Worker, working with young people from BAME communities in Forth Valley in the development of sport activities, with an immediate start.

Scottish Youth Parliament: Get Involved!

The next Scottish Youth Parliament (SYP) elections take place Tuesday 9th November – Sunday 21st November, and young people across Scotland are encouraged to get involved. Young people aged 14 – 25 years old can stand as candidates and become elected Members of the SYP (MSYP), helping create positive change in their communities. The deadline for expressions of interest in standing as a MSYP is Wednesday 30th June.

St John Scotland Patient Transport Service Volunteer Drivers

St John Scotland is looking for volunteer drivers from across Forth Valley to join their Patient Transport service, helping people get to and from their appointments at Forth Valley Royal Hospital (FVRH) in Larbert. The role requires a few hours per week transporting renal patients to and from the Renal Unit at FVRH. Volunteers should be aged 25 – 70 years old, with a valid driving licence, full insurance, and access to their own car. (Expenses can be claimed.)
