Windymill Playgroup are looking to recruit an enthusiastic volunteer will offer support to their already established team within the playgroup setting. The volunteer will interact with 2 to 5 year old children through creative and constructive play.

They are looking for a volunteer who enjoys being around children and who will involve themselves in play in all areas of their playroom. The volunteer will be an important part of the children’s day, and they will look at you as an important role model.

LAST CHANCE: Inquiry into Adult Social Care in Scotland

There is now only THREE DAYS until the Scottish Parliament Health and Sport Committee’s Inquiry into Adult Social Care closes on Thursday 20th February. The inquiry explores the future delivery of social care in Scotland and what is required to meet future needs. The Committee wants to hear from people with lived experience of adult social care – either while receiving it themselves, or as a carer.

Penumbra Relief Recovery Worker Vacancies

Penumbra is currently recruiting Relief Recovery Workers. Relief Recovery Workers provide cover when required by the Support Manager, with a wage of £10.09 per hour (including holiday pay allowance), based in Falkirk, Glasgow, West Lothian, and Lanarkshire. Applicants should have experience of being in a supportive or caring role. The deadline for applications is Saturday 1st March.

Enterprising Leadership for the Third Sector Training Programme

Social Enterprise Academy’s “Enterprising Leadership for the Third Sector” training programme begins on Monday 9th March. Each session will take place at Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park Authority, Carrochan Road, Balloch G83 8EG, 10am to 4.30pm. There are 3 modules delivered over 6 days, with the programme split into 3 two-day sessions spread over March to May.

The Forth Valley Social Enterprise Network (FVSEN) returns for its first meeting of 2020 next Friday 21st February. FVSEN offers peer support, networking and signposting opportunities, while promoting and encouraging the growth of social enterprises across Forth Valley.
