The Volunteer Friendly Award (VFA) is a simple, user-friendly quality standard designed to support, recognise and reward groups in Scotland who involve volunteers. It is designed to help organisations and groups develop and follow best practice techniques when it comes to recruiting, utilising and supporting volunteers.
Given the amount of incredible work currently done by volunteers during COVID-19, the VFA is an opportunity to build on this work; but for those groups who have had to pause their activities due to COVID-19, it is also a fantastic way to look at their programme with fresh eyes, and how they would like to go forward.
CVS Falkirk is available to support anyone looking to begin this process post COVID-19, and work towards their own Award.
