Volunteer Friendly Award Information Session

Posted on October 6, 2017

CVS Falkirk are hosting an information session on the Volunteer Friendly Award on Tuesday 7th November, 10am – 12pm, to provide an overview of the award and to take you through the process.

The session will be held at the CVS Falkirk office, Unit 6, Callendar Business Park, Falkirk, FK1 1XR.

The Volunteer Friendly Award is a simple, user-friendly quality standard to support, recognise and reward groups who are good at involving volunteers.

It has never been more important for groups to be able to show how good they are at involving and managing their volunteers.  Many essential services in Scotland’s communities are enhanced by volunteers. Volunteering also has a significant social value, as it is increasingly being used to give excluded individuals the chance to build their confidence and skills through helping others.

To book your place, or for further information, please contact CVS Falkirk by phone: 01324 692000, or email: info@cvsfalkirk.org.uk
